The academic year starts from the first week of July. The students who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10 + 2) or its equivalent are eligible for admission in the First Year class of Degree Course. The admission will be strictly on the basis of the merit panel and through counselling. Reservation quotas apply for S.C. / S.T. / P.H. and Others as per Government Rule. |
Students finally selected for admission should be careful about the fact that only an attested copy each of the H.S. mark sheet, and the Madyamik admit card should be attached to the Application Form. All other testomonials will be accepted at the time of admission. Attested testimonials of extra-curricular activities will also be accepted at the time of admission. |
The student should produce Original Mark Sheet / Certificate (Caste) of all relevant documents personally at the time of admission. One passport size photograph of each of the candidates who is not registered with the H.S.Council / Burdwan University will have to be submitted at the time of admission. Another copy of the passport size photograph should be fixed on the application form before the submission of the same.
Students belonging to Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes / should write “Scheduled Castes”, “Scheduled Tribes” as the case may be in the application form. Students claiming to belong to the above categories should submit an attested certificate to that effect along with the admission form.Students should be careful in selecting their subjects. Change of subject is not allowed after admission. |
