The College is now reckoned as an institution that has opened a million doors for the young women of Purulia. Committed to imparting value-based education, it has widened horizons both professionally and intellectually. Objectives that were only dreams in the days of its inception have now been transformed into realities.

Now on an average the College provides for 550 girl students every year the scope of higher education at the three year general degree course level in a highly secure environment. The College is now equipped with state of the art facilities in all spheres; plenty of class rooms, laboratory apparatus, modern library with sufficient stock of reference and text books, huge lawn and parking place, own vehicle, auditorium, and computers to mention only a few.

The Governing Body of the College is a representative body, which has members from all sections of society and operates as per University guidelines. The Teachers’ Council looks after the academic calendar and smooth functioning of the College by forming different Committees. Students participate in the College administration through the Students’ Union.
